THE MAP STORE @ USGS

The Map Store sells every available USGS topographic map for the entire state of Alaska, plus state-wide nautical charts, recreation maps and guides, geologic maps, and other earth science publications.

Available resources include:

• USGS topographic quads for the entire state

1:63,360—$8 per map
1:250,000—$9 per map
1:24,000—$8 per map (limited maps produced at this scale)

• Nautical charts for coastal navigation throughout Alaska

• Recreation guides and maps for hiking, climbing, and other outdoor activities

• Topographic maps for Hawaii and limited regions in the Yukon Territory

• USGS geologic maps and other scientific publications

• Expert assistance in finding what you need

Directions

The Map Store is located in Anchorage on the campus of Alaska Pacific University. Head east onto campus from the intersection of Elmore and University Drive; the store is inside the Alaska Science Center on the right near the top of the hill.
