Count Alaska's famous wild animals while singing along to the well-known tune of  "The Twelve Days of Christmas". On each page, more and more animals appear, starting with a single bear in a spruce tree and growing until animals are everywhere, waiting to be discovered and counted.

"Great Singing-Book" - September 23, 2010
"On the first day of Summer, Alaska showed to me... a Black Bear in a Spruce Tree." - "On the second day of Summer, Alaska showed to me... 2 twin moose and a black bear in a Spruce Tree."

My 3-year old daughter especially likes the line "5 Trumpeter Swaaaaaans."

The illustrations are wonderful and besides the fun of singing, kids can learn about the animals (there's extra info/text about them on each page), and learn counting & numbers too. My daughter and I recommend this book.
