Long ago, the Alogonquin Indians lived with many animals in the woods. They thought of all parts of the earthand all animals as family. They named the moose, "Moss" or "Moswa," which meant twig-eater in their language. Today moose still live in the northern regions of the world. This is the story of a moose.
